Terms and Conditions of booking and staying in Bungalow 6

Booking and Payment

Payment of the holding deposit constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

At the time of booking, you will be required to pay a minimum $200 deposit to secure Bungalow 6.  This amount is not inclusive of any other holding deposit paid to any booking site.

A security bond of $200 is payable at the same time as the Balance Amount.

The balance of rental payment and security bond must be received before or upon arrival. If not the owner has the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re-let.

The Security Bond will be refunded within 5 days in full subject to the conditions being met. It is designed to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to, any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared.

Check-in and Check-out Time

Check-in is after 2.00pm all days of the week unless prior arrangements have been made.

Check-out time is 10am unless prior arrangements have been made.

Keys to the Bungalow are to be left in the pre-arranged location.

Cancellation

14 days notice of cancellation is required for a refund, less a cancellation fee of $100.

Cancellations within 14 days of arrival: all monies paid will be forfeited if the bungalow cannot be re-let for the entire period.

No-shows: all monies paid will be forfeited.

All refunds are less a cancellation fee of $100.

The person/s holiday letting Bungalow 6 must be at least 18 years of age. In addition, to eliminate identity fraud, we will ask you to provide photo ID at check-in to ensure that your identity matches the booking identity. Your drivers licence or passport number may be kept on file to minimise risk of fraud.

Damage and Losses

Damage, breakages, theft and loss are the guests’ responsibility during their stay. On departure – the Bungalow should be left in a similar state to its condition of arrival.

Notice on arrival of any damage to the property and all that it includes must be relayed immediately so as to avoid Security Bond deductions.

Maintenance

To maintain an excellent standard for our guests it is required that certain conditions be complied with. The respect of Bungalow 6 is most appreciated and we trust that every time you depart the property, you close and lock doors and windows, switch off lighting, appliances and  air-conditioning.

Cleaning Fees    Cleaning fees will only be charged if excessive cleaning is required

Number of Guests   Should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or via email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with owners in advance.

Disturbance to the Neighbours   including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of Security Bond.

Furniture   may not be removed from the property. Guests will be liable for any furniture damaged or items missing from the property. Monies will be deducted from the Security Bond to remedy any damage, excess cleaning or missing items.

Smoking   is only permitted outside the bungalow and cigarette butts are to be disposed of in the ashtray located under the kitchen sink or the outside bin provided.

Pets are not allowed.

Children are not permitted to stay as the property is not child friendly.
